Queen Elizabeth National Park

3 Days Uganda Wildlife safari explores you to the magical wildlife safari destination that is Queen Elizabeth national park, where you witness the big four mammals of the big five animal species like lions, buffaloes, leopards, and elephants. The park has other animal species like water bucks, Uganda kobs among others in the game drive. In this safari you experience the incredible boat cruise safari on Kazinga channel to get to see some of the parks aquatic wildlife like crocodiles, hippopotamuses and witnessing acquatic bird species.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Your safari guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Kampala and get on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. Along the way you will make stopovers including Mpambire drum makers, the equator at Kayabwe and Lake Mburo national park. You will enjoy lunch en-route in Mbarara town at Igongo cultural center with an optional tour of the museum. After lunch you proceed with your tour driving past Ishaka and Kyamuhunga tea plantations, arriving the park late afternoon. Check in and spend the evening at leisure.

Dinner and overnight stay at Enganzi Game Lodge or Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive & Launch Cruise.

On the 2nd day of your 3 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari, You wake up to an early breakfast and head out for a game drive to catch up with the early risers and cats as they retire from the morning hunt as that’s the time when the park animal species can be active. The game drive will lead you across the beautiful savannah plains where you will spot many of the big five and other small game.

A sunrise in this park is itself rewarding enough! Return to the lodge to freshen up and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise on the famous Kazinga channel (the channel connecting Lakes Edward and George) known to posses the highest hippopotamus concentration in Africa where you observe the endless numbers of hippopotamuses.

You will as well see giant Crocodiles, lots of birds and a good number of animals that come to drink and soak up the Kazinga channel. After the boat cruise return to lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala & Departure.

You enjoy breakfast at leisure and depart the park for Kampala with lunch en-route in Mbarara or Masaka town. Proceed with the journey arriving Kampala in the afternoon and your Uganda safari guide will drop you at any place of your convenience either at the hotel or airport for your onward flight, that marks the end of 3 days Queen Elizabeth National Park.
