Queen Elizabeth National Park

4 Days Bwindi & Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari : Take part in a 4-day Uganda safari. You’ll get to go on a game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, as well as a boat cruise through the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll see a variety of wildlife and bird species. Next, you’ll head to Bwindi Forest National Park, which is famous for its gorilla trekking. Finally, you’ll be taken back to Kampala.

Day 1; Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will be picked up at the airport and driven to western Uganda’s Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will stop at the equator en route for the equator experience and, also you can take photographs. After lunch, proceed to Mbarara town and continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will arrive in the late afternoon. After checking in, go on a nighttime game drive before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 2; Game drive, Boat Cruise Transfer to Bwindi.

 On the 2nd day of your 4 Days Bwindi & Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari, Wake up in the morning and go for early the morning game drive to witness the early risers including early birds and potentially spot the cats as they are finishing their hunt.  Return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and take a unique boat Cruise through Queen Elizabeth Park along the Kazinga channel where you can get up close and personal with hippos, crocodiles, and other aquatic animals as well as a variety of birds on the bay!

After the cruise, you’ll continue driving to Bwindi through the Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Ishasha section, which is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, and you could be lucky enough to view some. Along the way you will have en-route lunch, and Bwindi should be reached by late afternoon. After dinner, stay the night at Silverback Lodge.

Day 3; Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi.

On the 3rd day of your 4 Days Bwindi & Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari, Breakfast first thing in the morning, then make your way to the park’s main office for a briefing from the ranger guides before starting your gorilla walk. Go through the forest till you come to the gorillas. Depending on the gorillas’ movements, trekking Mountain Gorillas can take anywhere from two to eight hours. You will only be permitted to stay in Bwindi for an hour after locating the gorillas before you must leave. After dropping you off at your hotel, your driver or guide will return to Silverback Lodge to spend another night as described above.

Note: The child will be taken on a guided nature walk around the forest by the guide while the adults go gorilla trekking.

Day 4; Transfer Back to Kampala

After a leisurely breakfast, travel back to Kampala with a lunch stop in Mbarara, arriving in Kampala in the evening. Drop off at the airport in preparation for your next journey.
