Jacana safari lodge is found within queen Elizabeth national park and is part of the Geo-lodges that received numerous awards. The lodge is stationed at the shores of the largest crater lake nyamusingire and maramagambo forest edge.
The lodge was constructed and designed with African architecture with volcanic rocks, hardwood forest logs, organic furniture materials, and ropes that give a connection to nature with nice views of the lake and the forest canopy to thrill while on Uganda Safaris.
The jacana hotel has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool with loungers. A restaurant that has a menu with both local and international cuisine meals along with snacks. An onsite bar having local and international drinks both hard and soft, a sauna and massage parlor plus a fireplace where tourists can sit in the evening while watching the sparkling stars.
The hotel has warm receiving staff that make the stay rememberable. The check-in time for the visitors is at 12pm east African time and check-out time is 10am east African time. The maximum age for staying free for children is 5years old.
Due to its location, that’s being close to the park where tourists can enjoy game drives in the afternoons and spot the unique climbing lions as they lie on the acacia and sycamore trees as well as other wildlife species such as elephants, lions giant forest hogs, leopards and many more.
The Queen Elizabeth national park has as well been nominated as the park with the highest number of birds that is over 600 bird species such as the dark caped yellow warbler, red-tailed bristle bill, fawn breasted wax bill, swamp flycatcher, palm-nut vulture, papyrus gonolek, pel’s fishing owl, spotted redshank, white-winged tern, red-chested sunbird, grey-winged robin-cat, crab-plover, yellow throated cuckoo, western banded snake eagle among others.

Besides the birdwatching and game drives tourists can as well take a boat cruise at the kazinga channel swarmed with a variety of animals at the shores such as hippos, buffaloes and crocodiles. The amazing kyambura gorge is as well an ideal place for the chimpanzee trekking and spotting other primates like olive baboon and olive monkeys among others. The tourists can as well have a forest walk within the maramagambo forest.
At jacana, a minimum deposit of 25% of the total value of the booking is made within two days after booking and balance is paid two weeks before the actual arrival.
