Entrance fees for Queen Elizabeth National Park : Entrance fees refers to the money that is charged by Uganda Wildlife Authority the government body in charge of tourism to the tourists who come to visit Queen Elizabeth national park.The entrance fees ticket to enter in the park is valid for 24 hours from the time of entrance and any other time exceeded is a separate extra paid. Tourists who come to visit the park are requested to present their identification cards to know their resident status as every origin has its own entrance fees. Children who come to visit Queen Elizabeth national park are people between the age of 5 to 15 years and the ones below 5 years are exempt.

Queen Elizabeth national park is the second largest safari destination in Uganda that is situated in the western region of Uganda in the districts namely Rubirizi, Kamwenge, Kasese, and Rukungiri. Queen Elizabeth national park is famously and popularly known for the tree climbing lions in the southern part of the part Ishasha sector. Minus the tree climbing lions the park inhabits various animal species like the buffalos, chimpanzees, leopards, Uganda Kobs and others. The park also harbors the primates like white and black colobus monkeys without forgetting the bird species.

Queen Elizabeth national park is the wonderful safari destination that provides the tourists with the safari activities that includes the boat cruise on Kazinga channel, chimpanzee trekking, guided nature walks, bird watching and among many others.

Tourists who happen to visit Queen Elizabeth national park numerous times in the year can pay for the annual entrance passes. Though this only applies to the foreign residents in Uganda and the East African citizens.

Note. A safari guide and the taxi driver pay 100,000 UGX and a tour company driver enter for free.

Vehicle entrance is charges separately, and the annual park entrance passes is not valid for the Uganda Safari activities and the foreign residents require to work permit valid for one year to qualify to do so.

The Launch cruise fees takes a period of 2 hours with the maximum of 40 people, though the minimum boat cruise of 4 people, is foreign non residents pay 120 USD and UGX 120,000 for 4 East African citizens.

Note, the landing fees excludes the entrance fees payable by the passengers and pilots en-route, there is no paying entrance fees if they spend less than 2 hours in Queen Elizabeth national park.
