5 Days Explore Uganda Tour : For a wildlife adventure in two distinctive national parks, the Explore Uganda itinerary takes you to Kidepo Valley and Queen Elizabeth in the 5 days explore Uganda Tour.

Day 1: Arrival and Charter flight transfer to Kidepo national park.

 On the first day of the 5 days explore Uganda tour. When you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, a representative of our company or a guide will be waiting to give you a briefing of the safari then he drives you to Kajjasi Airfield, where you will connect with a tour shuttle using FLY UGANDA to get to Kidepo Valley National Park. It will take about 45 minutes to get to the airport, but you must check in 30 minutes before takeoff. At 8:00 am, the charter aeroplane takes off. The park guide or driver will meet you when you arrive and will either transport you to your lodge to freshen up before going on a game drive or they will take you on a game drive right away. Do a game drive throughout the park with your breakfast packed for the experience of seeing wildlife in large numbers. Enjoy seeing elephant, Cape Buffalo, lion, giraffe, and antelope herds as well as Zebra sightings. Once you get back to the lodge, you can rest up and eat lunch. You will have a supervised nature walk in the late afternoon. Later, go back and unwind at the lodge while enjoying a sunset evening. Dinner and overnight accommodations can be found at the luxurious Apoka Safari Lodge, the mid-range Nga’Moru Wilderness Camp, the inexpensive Uganda Wildlife Authority Bandas, or the rustic Bush camps.

Day 2: All day game drive to Kanangorok hot springs.

On the second day of the 5 days explore Uganda tour. Get up early, eat breakfast, and watch the sun rise behind the mountain before leaving for a morning wildlife drive in the park while carrying a packed lunch. Drive to the hot springs with your ranger guide along the Kidepo River’s palm tree-lined path. Along the way, you’ll see herds of elephants, Cape buffalo, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many other creatures, as well as an ostrich farm. Finally, you’ll spend some time at the hot springs. After that fantastic wildlife drive, go back to the lodge and relax while taking in the sights of animals that pass by it. Dinner and overnight accommodations can be found at the luxurious Apoka Safari Lodge, the mid-range Nga’Moru Wilderness Camp, the inexpensive Uganda Wildlife Authority Bandas, or the rustic Bush camps.

Day 3: Charter flight transfer to Kampala then Queen Elizabeth National Park.

On the third day of the 5 days explore Uganda Tour. After eating breakfast at 7:00 am, drive through the park on your way to the airport while taking in the abundance of wildlife. Look for herds of elephants, Cape buffalo, lions, and other antelopes, as well as Zebras. The driver will then drop you off at Apoka Airstrip where you can catch your charter flight with FLY UGANDA back to Kajjansi Airstrip.

Around 10:00 am, when you arrive at Kajjansi airfield, you’ll find your driver/guide waiting to take you to Queen Elizabeth national park. The park is about a 7-hour trip from south western Uganda. However, because of the delayed departure, you will choose a shorter route via Fort Portal, which will take you to Kasese in roughly 4 to 5 hours. This includes any meals you have en route in Fort portal town. Check into the lodge after arriving at the park in the evening. Dinner and an overnight stay at Park View Lodge/ Queen Elizabeth Safari Lodge (midrange) or Mweya Safari Lodge (luxury).

Day 4: Game drive in Ishasha sector & the Kazinga channel boat cruise.

 On the 4th day of the 5 days of Explore Uganda Tour, wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast. Meet with your safari guide, as you drive through the game trails with a great view of the Rwenzori Mountains on clear days, expect to see many animals, including lions on trees, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and various species of antelope. Head to Ishasha sector, the home of the fascinating climbing lions after embark and go to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, get ready to take a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel where you are going to spot the large schools of hippos, Nile crocodiles and the diverse numbers of the beautiful and colorful bird species. After the boat cruise go to the lodge and relax whenever you like. Dinner and an overnight stay at either the mid-range Queen Elizabeth Safari Lodge or the luxurious Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Kampala / Entebbe Airport.

On the 5th day of the 5 days of explore Uganda tour. Wake up early in the morning, drive briefly along the wildlife trails after breakfast as you leave the park to start the trip back to Kampala. While travelling, stop for lunch in Mbarara at Igongo cultural Centre and a quick visit to the equator. Retract from that and travel on to Kampala, where you can rest up before going to the airport to catch your trip home.
