5 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park : In this Uganda Safari, visit Queen Elizabeth National Park game drives, boat cruises on the Kazinga Channel, nature hikes in the Maramagambo forests, and visits to the salt lakes of Katwe are all popular activities at the queen Elizabeth national park.
DAY 1: Arrival at airport and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
On the first day of 5 days Queen Elizabeth National Park. Your safari guide will pick you and give you a briefing about the safari, and then embark your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
This is where you will leave Kampala for the 5 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park and take mityana- Mubende route to fort portal where you will have lunch and also drive around fort portal town. After that, you’ll go to Kasese, where you’ll arrive during late evening. After having some time to explore Kasese Town, you will drive to the Kikongoro Culture Centre, where you will spend a little while while taking pictures at the Equator. You will next travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the main katunguru gate and spend the night at the Mweya Safari Lodge for luxury, Queen Elizabeth Safari Lodge for mid-range.
DAY 2: Morning boat cruise and Exploring the Amabere Ganyina Mwiru.
On the 2nd day of the 5 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park, wake up early in the morning and be served with hearty breakfast, meet with your safari guide and proceed to Kazinga channel where you will ride to the queen’s pavilion where you will watch the schools of hippopotamuses, crocodiles, sighting various colourful and beautiful bird species. You will spend two to three hours in the queen’s pavilion admiring the expansive vista of Queen Elizabeth National Park and having some opportunity to take pictures. After you will be taken back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will travel to Mabere Ganyina Mwiru and other historical locations, such as the Tooro Kingdom Palace, where you may have a picnic before travelling to the royal tombs of the Tooro Kingdom to learn more about the people and babito who are in charge of maintaining the tombs. After you will have the dinner, evening relaxation, and dinner in the above lodges.
DAY 3: Full day in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
On the third day of the 5 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will wake up early in the morning and be served with a leisurely breakfast. After you will meet with your safari guide then go to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is where you will enjoy the early risers in the park including the lions, elephants, buffaloes and among other, including the bird species in the Kasenyi peninsular. After you will be taken back to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation.
After you will come back to Queen Elizabeth National Park to Ishasha to sight the tree climbing lions that are stunning while laying themselves on the tree branches, as well as sighting other numerous numbers of the animal species in the location as well as bird species. From there you will be taken to the above lodge for evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4: Chimpanzee trekking and visiting Katwe crater.
Kyambura Gorge
On the 4th day of 5 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park. Wake up early in the morning and be served with breakfast and with packed lunch. You will be taken for chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura gorge, where you will experience the juggles while looking for the chimpanzees and once found you will be given one hour to be in their presence while watching them play, feed, groom.
From there you will meet with your safari guide and you’ll travel to Katwe Crater Lake to participate in a salt mining excursion and to see some historic salt mines. And after going back to the lodge for the evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5: Departure.
On the 5th day of the 5 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will wake up early in the morning and be served with hearty breakfast. And check out, then meet your safari guide and proceed with your journey where you will experience Kitagata hot springs in Bushenyi as well as enroute lunch. After you will continue with your journey then again have a stopover at equator for the equator experience and taking photos. And again proceed with your journey to Kampala where your safari driver will drop you at any place of your convienece either at Entebbe International Airport or anywhere in Kampala.
